The Moonlight Shadow

Prologue

I ran towards the Dark One who once was my Elder. He threw a knife at me. I dodged it. He laughed an evil way. I had blood running down my arm and the side of my eye. I grab my arm in pain.
“You are almost out of time, Meline,” he said pointing at me. I fell to my knees. NO, I can’t let it end like this. I thought. Blood fell into my eye leaving only one eye for me to see with. “You are in so much pain. I’ll end your life then your friends,” he said laughing, pointing at me then my friends. I stood up on one knee and pushed myself to get up. “Goodbye,” he said, charging at me with his bloody sword in his hand aiming for my heart. I closed my eyes waiting for the pain of death to come to me. A few seconds pasted and I heard a slash. I waited then opened my eye; I was in shock.
“Sensei Alkuso!!” I cried. The dark one jumped backwards after pulling his sword from her chest. I caught her as she fell. “Why? Why? Why did you save me Sensei Alkuso?” I cried, hugging her, burying myself into her shoulder.
“Because. You’re my daughter. I love you and I’m so proud of you. Goodbye,” she whispers. Her dying words echoed in my head over and over.
“Sensei Alkuso, my mother?” I whisper mindless. I gently sat her on the ground and stood up. “YOU MONSTER! I’m going to kill you!” I screamed, charging with a great boost of speed and power. I summoned my swords to my side. I screamed as I brought my swords over my head. “Make him feel my pain, Mackuromi!” I screamed, letting my swords hear my cry. An aura arose with blood and death in the air. I brought Mackuromi down aiming for the Dark One’s head. This is it. I lost too much blood. I thought closing my eyes and falling to the ground. I manage to cut off his arm. He screamed in pain with blood squirting everywhere, even on me. Before I hit the ground, I reawaken screaming with anger. I pushed myself off the ground, jumping backwards. My fangs grew twice their size. My claws grew triple their size. My tail grew bigger and longer.
A dark red wind blew around me. I growled. The Dark One took a step back holding his arm, trying to stop the bleeding. I bared my teeth like a mad animal. I ran at him and bit into his chest, watching him scream with blood coming out of his mouth. I dug my claws into him and rip his skin; immediately blood felled the area. I jumped off of him.
“You monster! You called me the monster, but no! Look at yourself, Meline! I have dreamed of this day when your inner self awoke. But you have gone too far. I lost my arm!” he said nervously. I breathe heavy just as he did. “I must retreat for now, give myself time to heal and I will find you another day…” he said disappearing. The furious form of me dissolved. I fell to the ground, unconscious. Exhausted from the pain I felt from inside.





Chapter 1 One year before
(Awaken)

The day was a sunny bright sky with no clouds in sight. The temperature was around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, a normal heat during the school days. I was attending my normal morning classes. I was walking through other students, then I saw a friendly face that I knew. So I ran to catch up with him.
“Canny, what’s up?” I asked, reaching out and touching his shoulder. He turned around.
“Oh, hi Meline. Nothing much, what about you?” he asked, slowly down so i could catch my breath.
